Yes, there are only 26 episodeds on four discs but funimation is ttrying to get a second season of Fruits Basket...but it might not be possible since the anime and manga are very different. The manga is still ongoing in Japan and it might be ending in another year or so. Some of the differences in the anime were the lack of Rin, the plotting Shigure, there was no confrontation with Akito in the end (he just hits Tohru by just showing up at the door one day and screaming at her) and Kureno. But I still hope a second season will be made, its my favorite anime ^^

Reply:there are only 26 episodes because it can to a point when the anime story was already nearing the mangas when its still not finished thats why decided to end it.when the mangas story progreses more,thats the time they will make season 2...i cant wait!
Reply:There are 4 DVDs and a total of 26 episode. However, the Manga has a better ending because all the zodiac characters are explained and you have a better feel of the %26#039;end%26#039;.
